Account Executive (m/f/d) for R&D Projects

In your role as Account Executive (m/f/d), you will be part of our 5-person Sales & Partner Impact team around Dominik and will play a central role in developing our sales activities and expanding our customer base. You will work closely with our customers to understand their challenges and needs, identify the right opportunities and provide tailored solutions. You will liaise regularly with our business units and project teams and have a significant influence on the products and innovations of the future.
Your Role
- Identifying Opportunities: You proactively generate new business opportunities with new and existing clients by identifying potential opportunities and key decision makers in the industry
- Client Relationship Management: You will develop and maintain close relationships with our customers, act as a trusted advisor and ensure the satisfaction of our customers with our tailor-made solutions
- Solution Selling: You have an understanding of the technical aspects of our portfolio and how it can specifically address our customers' needs and challenges
- Collaboration: You work closely with our technical teams to translate client requirements into compelling proposals and solutions
- Negotiation and Closing: To help us achieve our sales targets, you'll negotiate contracts, develop pricing strategies and close deals
- Market Insights: You stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to position Motius as a leader in the market
Your Profile
- Demonstrated ability to reach or surpass sales goals, ideally in a consulting or tech start-up environment
- Ability to listen to clients, understand their challenges, and propose suitable solutions
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close deals with the ambition to exceed targets and maximize earnings
- Confident appearance and a strong trust in your skillset, coupled with the ability to work independently
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both German and English
